Abstract

Background. In professional training at universities the contradiction between the current education and professional activity becomes apparent. This has a negative effect on the general pedagogical level of futures teachers. The methods of the vocation-oriented philosophy can surmount this contradiction.
Materials and methods. The principal research method was the vocation-oriented philosophy (the author – A. A. Verbitskiy).
Results. The authors specified the contradictions between studying at universities and professional activity with reference to professional training of futures teachers. The necessity to use the methods of vocation-oriented philosophy at universities has been proved. The methods of vocation-oriented philosophy for formation and development of the cognitive component of methodological culture of futures teachers have been described.
Conclusions. The methods of vocation-oriented philosophy in professional training can also successfully form and develop the methodological culture of futures teachers.
